Cream of Lentil soup with Kawupi

 Lentil is mostly use for curries in sri lanka.but lentil soup is very famous in french im going to do how to bland lentil and kawupi.very healthy for all ages,easy recipe.ideal for dinner with bread.

  • 200 g lentil
  • 50 g kawupi
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 garlic chopped
  • 30 g chopped celery
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 50 ml fresh cream
  • salt pepper

  1. Take a pan,heat the oil,saute onion and garlic,add celery
  2. put lentil also.stir it,add the vegetable stock,bring it to boil.
  3. mean wile boiled the kawupi separately
  4. Once lentil get cook,allow to cool,bland it.
  5. heat a pan again,reboil the lentil.add cream and finish the soup
  6. add kawupi to lentil soup,season it
  7. Ready to serve.sprinkle some chopped parsley on top.

I used kawupi here for the soup.when you boil kawupi,be careful with the not over boil.even you can add chopped coriander as Garnish.
