Beetroot wrapped in cabbage leaves

Beetroot you can find very easily in sri lanka.and ideal for dinner.creative vegetarian dish,can use as accompaniment too.this is health recipe and low coasted too.i use this spicy.many people used beetroot as a salad.and now you can try this recipe also.

  • 200 g boiled beetroot
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small ginger
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 2 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 tsp chilli pieces
  • 3 tbs coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp mustered powder
  • salt,pepper

  1. Boiled the beetroot and chopped the beetroot.and keep a side.
  2. meanwhile blanch the cabbage leaves,keep a side.
  3. take a pan,heat it,add onion and ginger and saute for wile.
  4. put all other ingredients in to it,mixed well.add the chopped beetroot,mixed well.add salt and pepper
  5. take to blanch cabbage leave to a plate.please two spoons on the cabbage leave.
  6. roll it such as on the picture

you are free to make the spicy levels.or you are free to do your own creation.even you can use fresh cream inset of coconut milk.
