Sri lankan love to have string hoppers in there meal most of the time.Ideal for breakfast and dinner.with light curry.and sambol make a balance meal for all.kids love to have as well.my grand mother get use to make sweet out of sri hoppers too.fish or chicken red curry mouth watering. string hoppers can make white and red.red is more healthy.even famous indeeappa

  • 400 g  red rice flour
  • 2 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp  salt

Method

  1. boil the water,and take off the fire
  2. add the flour in to a bowl,add sufficient water,and mixed
  3. meanwhile take string hopper makers,and put srings
  4. Steam for less then 10 minutes.

Note
when you pore water to the mixture,please be careful with the water quantity.when you make red strings if you can use  50 g white flour,that will be great.thin gravy will be ideal as accompaniment.
