 Pilaf rice is one of famous rice preparation,i like to have this with one or two curries.specially very famous in asia.rice is main meal.you can make this is to very aromatic way . Rice is roasted along with spices, vegetables and nuts for a short time in fat, and then cooked in stock or water with a variety of seasoning and spice blend. A vegetarian rice pilaf can be cooked with a combination of onions, carrot, beans, cauliflower, and tomatoes with spices.Every region has its own recipe to cook pilaf. Depending on the region, the ingredients vary and the blend of spices is different.try and get us the comments.

Ingredients
  • 200 g basmathi rice
  • 3 tsp vegetable ghee
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 1 cardamon and cloves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 small carrot diced
  • 40 g green peas
  • 40 g Cashew nuts
  • 350 ml water
  • salt,pepper and coriander leaves

Method

  1. soak  the rice for some time.heat the oil put cumin,onion and saute for minute.
  2. Now add carrot and green peas and cook for another 2 minutes
  3. Add the rice and mixed with the saute items.add water salt pepper and coriander too.
  4. Cook for 15 minutes.your rice is done.ready to serve hot with some curries.

Note
Do not over cook the rice.then it will mash.and beautiful with  salt and pepper levels.little lump texture will come up.do not worry.that ideal to have with some rita salad.
