Barley with Roasted Coconut flakes

I think you have hurt about my coconut and barley soup recipe before.in here i used roosted coconut in to the soup.and this is very famous in asia.and most of asian can find lot of fresh coconut in surrounding.so it help us to make wonderful soup like this.ideal for dinner,even you can used any spicy level to the soup.do not kill the flavors.fresh coconut make uniqueness of this soup.try and get us your lovely comments.

Ingredients
  • 50 g boiled barley.
  • 40 g great coconut roasted
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 small stick of celery chopped
  • 1/4 bunch of coriander leaves
  • 100 ml vegetable stock.
  • 50 ml thick coconut milk
  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. heat the oil,add onion,garlic and celery,saute for few minutes.
  2. add the berley and coconut together and saute for norther few minutes.
  3. add the stock and bring it to boil.then fallow with coconut milk.
  4. correct the seasoning,and take off the fire.

Note
Do not boil the soup once you add coconut milk.you can use some cumin seed if necessary.make sure if you all lot of chillis,then you kill the relay smooth flavor.
