Steamed Rice with chicken with Ash plantant thick curry

In this recipe you can see two preparations.rice and ash plantain thick curry will be ideal for elderly people.this recipe is so unique.this is a sri lankan aromatic rice steamed and wrapped in banana leaves.even ash plantain we do here in thick curry.this is ideal for set menus.and perfect bland make you meal very happy.and ideal for dinner.wonderful vegetarian meal.

  1. wash the rice,add all ingredients in to the pot.mixed with rice add vegetable stock.and cook
  2. Mean wile take a another pan.add some oil. put onion and garlic saute for 1/2 minute.
  3. add curry and chili powder,stir for a wile.add ash plantain fallow with coconut milk.
  4. Cook for 6 minutes.
  5. mean wile i hope now your rice is cook.
  6. Take a banana leaf.keep a spoon in the middle of the banana leaf and wrapped as in the picture
  7. steam the wrapped rice packet for 3 minutes

you can use chicken stock inset of vegetable stock in the rice.this is a low costered menu.this is ideal for diabetes pations.and ideal for not cook rice over.if the rice mach,then the txture will be go off.
