Radish and Red Kidney Bean soup

This  red kidney bean soup is very famous in the world.and i make it in how it good to Asian plate.spicy and aromatic soup will be high demand in sri lanka.i suggest this soup for dinner,and with two bread rolls,this is will be wonderful dietary menu.in my cooking im very health conses.i make as the radish cream as the base.i would say this is a combination of two flavors.

  • 100 g radish
  • 50 g carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 30 g celery
  • 150 g chicken stock
  • 100 ml milk
  • 5o ml fresh cream
  • some coriander leaves
  • salt and pepper

  1. Take a pan,add some butter saute onion and garlic.
  2. add the diced radish and carrot and saute for 1 minute more.
  3. fallow the stock and bring it to boil,until carrots and radish get mashed.
  4. Take off the fire,allow to cool.mean wile boiled the red kidney beans in a separate pot.
  5. after bland the boil vegetables,and make the soup.keep in the stove again.
  6. bring it to boil.add kidney beans and finish with fresh cream.
  7. add salt and pepper to season.

Do not boil once you add the cream.this is a cream soup,but i don’t like to make the soup thick.better to be light.because it contain lot of carbohydrates,
