Manyokka is one of favorite in all sri lankans i would say.we used it in curries and  desserts as well.always fresh manyokka many people use as there breakfast as boiled and accompanied with grated coconut.ideal for breakfast.Manyokka,coconut and katta sambol is a hit in Sri lanka.

Method

  1. Clean the Cassave properly.cut in to half and again half.
  2. put in to the water.add salt and turmeric in to the water
  3. Bring it to boil and cook until it done.

Note
you have to be careful when you choose the manyok.get the fresh once. do not over cook.it will give watery.even you can use some katta sambol here.
