Dear All,
We warmly welcome our team of two chefs & eight sri lankan delegates that carried us proudly into the world at the the event of “Salon del Gusto & Terra Madre 2012″ at Turin, Italy.
Chef Duminda Played the key role at this event to represent our country.
Most of the chefs around the world took part in this programme to represent their traditional authentic cuisines at a world stage. Over and 10,000 spectators/visitors were present on each day of the prg.
The sri lankan chef duminda out of the 40 chefs that took part in this event performed his part of the show with a lot of pride with his cooking and live explanations.
Sri lanka had four opportunities to perform at the Terra Madre kitchen. The path way to show the world our own cooking traditions. Chef Duminda with the assistance of sous chef priyantha made an great impression to the public when the chef prepared his recipe of “Steamed kurakkan roll with vegetable & chicken chat roast” at the salon del gusto.
The show was a great success with the help of our team & with the help of members of youth net work for slow food.
