An international Cousine work shop was organized by the club of Richmond college, Galle on the 4th of dec 2012. at the hotel hasara-Galle.
Student from many schools participated with great enthusiasm that lasted half a day.
Here chef duminda as a slow food international member educated all the students about having clean & healthy food without artificial flavoring.
The chef demonstrated 5 recipes with the help of the participants. The chef could not believe the interest the students showed while preparing the dishes. He was sincerely happy to see the young generations interest in food preparation.
The chef prepared a thai fish soup first & followed with chocolate pudding, hawain rice, chicken with sweet corn & plums & salads.
the chocolate pudding was the most highly spoken recipe by the students.
The event turned more interesting at the salad competition which students competed in 3 groups. Here we saw the talents & capabilities of the younger generation in this industry.
This was a great opportunity for all the students to be a part in the youth slow food net work.
The work shop was a great success than expected.
