Snack Gourd and coconut salad

A vegetable not commonly prepared in our homes. This vegetable could be disliked by most of us, but given its medicinal and nutritional value, we think twice before refusing this dish at our lunch table. Snake gourd could be prepared in many ways to satisfy our taste buds.

Method

  1. clean the young snake gourd in and out.
  2. cut in to small cubes..put into a bowl and keep a side.
  3. then chop the onion and add to the snake gourd.
  4. then add the coconut too.
  5. add salt and pepper to taste with lime juice.
  6. mix well all together & its ready to send to the table.

Note

Better results if a young snake gourd fruit is used for this salad.
