Slow food Activity Organized By Chef Duminda

Founding member of the Nuwara Elia Slow Food Convivium and working as Youth Co-Ordinator for slow food network under convivium nuwara eliya, Chef Duminda is a signature in sri lanka, working hard to promote slow food concept in our country.

Villa Mayurana is one of the high luxury  properties situated in Galle, sri lanka & the Kurundu Restaurant is one of the identified restaurant in slow food. They have their own vegetable garden.
We had guests from England, Mr. & Mrs Walker,, they were highly curios to see our vegetable garden & wanted a tour in it. Our Chef Duminda was highly delighted of the idea and took pleasure in explaining the entire concept in detail. Mr. & Mrs. Walker  was greatly satisfied.
Later they entered the kitchen of the chef to prepare our own rice & curry dishes. Together first they prepared our chefs favorite Chicken Ambulthiyal with amuthi mixer and let it cook on low fire for a long time. In the mean time Amberalla pickle, Wing beans, Bottle gourd thick curry & Kohila sambol was  prepared together with visitors.
