Rulan Dosi one of famouse sweet in Sri lankan cooking.in this reciep i have used green coloring also,just to give the coloer to the dish.this is a hitting item in and Sri Lankan Occation.and Sinhala awurudu recipe as well.easy prepration too.
Ingredients
  • 250 g Rulan
  • 250 grated coconut
  • 500 g sugar
  • 1 tsp green coloring
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 chopped cardamon
  • pinch of salt

Method

  1. add sugar and little water in to a pan,bring it to boil.
  2. when it get think,fallow with coconut,mixed well,add rulan in to the coconut sugar mix .
  3. mixed all till get in to think past,add coloring and cardamon, mixed well
  4. take a tray ,lay the think past on the tray
  5. make it in to thin layer,allow to cool,cut in to pices

Note
you are free to use any type of color in here.cant do much changers.but you have to keep very good eye on texture all the time.reduce the fire when it getting think.other wise the bottom will be burn.
