Fish Cutlet with Manyokka and Jack fruit seeds

Sri Lankan fish Cutlet is very famoue in Asia.the reson is we have the perfect blande with the spices.but in the recipe we have done some changes.very ofter people used potatoed.b ut in this recipe i love to give more traditional flavoers in to the dush.i have used Manyokka and juck fruit seed as my felling.enjoy my recipes.And I Have Used DILNA Spices give the real aroma to the dish.
  • 100 g Fish Fillet
  • 50 g Manyokka boiled and mashed
  • 50 g Jack fruit seed boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tsp garlic chopped
  • 2 no green chilies sliced
  • some curry leaves,lime
  • 1 tsp Tumaric powder ( DILNA)
  • 1 tsp Chili pieces ( DILNA)
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder (DILNA)
  • 1 egg
  • 100 bread crumbed
  • 200 ml Vegetable oil

  1. Boiled the fish ,manyok and jack fruit keep separate,
  2. heat the oil,add onion garlic,curry leaves and saute for seconds.
  3. add manyokka and jack fruit sed in the the mixture and stir it.add DILNA chili pices,tumaric and pepper powder in to it and mixed well…
  4. Take off the fire.allow to cool,make in to balls.
  5. add in to a egg wash,and bread crumb and deep fry in hot oil.

You are free to use any kind of white fish,and please add some fresh spices to the cutlet.I recommended add Dilna Spices in to this.
