Fish & Green Peas Paties

Sri Lanka is a country is very famous for a lot of spicy snacks. and fish is very famous around the country too. so today we are going to get you a baked spicy fish paties which is very famous. many food lovers do not mis to test Sri Lankan food paties. and this is famous as street food as well. low in price and easy to access from any small shop.
  • 100 g minced fish
  • 50 g green peas
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 curry powder
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cold water
  • salt
  • pepper

  1. heat the pan add onion, garlic and ginger and saute for a few minutes
  2. add fish and fallow with green peas and cook for some time to fish is getting cooked
  3. take a another bowl, add flour, eggs and water, mixed well
  4. allow dough to rest at least 10 minutes
  5. roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut small cylinder shapes
  6. keep the paste in the middle of the small cylinders and choose as you wish and baked in the oven for 160 c for 10 minutes

this is an easy snack which is very famous in Sri Lanka. in paties  you are totally free to use any kind of filling in it. you can do this in frying or baked in both methods, do not over baked or fry then the color of the parties will be destroyed. always the parties contains with goldenbrown color
