Ingredients
  • 3 tomatoes abt 100g
  • Chopped onions
  • Garlic
  • Few drops of vinegar
  • 1 table spoon Sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cumin seed sooduru (preferred roasted)
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves chopped

Method

  1. Half Boil tomatoes and chop them
  2. Heat 1tbl sp oil in a pan and temper onion and garlic.
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook for abt 4-5 minutes till water is drained
  4. Add cummin seeds, mustard, curry leaves, sugar, salt n pepper and cook in low fire for five minutes.
  5. Enjoy this sweet and sour tomato chutney

Note
Make sure you have to remove the tomato skin after blanching.do not over boiled it will be a reason to mash the tomatoes.
