Potato is one of famous Vegetable in the world. it have million ways of preparations.so i like to do a curry here today.and this is Asian dish i would say.and each county have there own style of prep.Children love to have this as there side dish to the meal.Rice and potato is well combination.and vegetarian do with Roti and potato too
Ingredients
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 2 no Onion
  • 2 no Tomato(chopped)
  • 3 no Green chillies(chopped)
  • 40 g Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 30 g Coriander leaves(chopped)
  • Salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 4 no Curry leaves

Method

  1. Take a pot  and add potatoes, onion, tomato, green chillies, garlic, turmeric powder, chopped coriander leaves, salt and water.
  2. Cook, till the first whistle comes or till the potatoes are cooked.
  3. Heat oil in a pan
  4. Splutter the mustard seeds and add dry chillies and curry leaves.
  5. Add the cooked potato mixture into it and boil for 3 min.

Note
No need to use coconut milk all the time.i have make this with out coconut milk.if you over cooked then potato will mash.
