Tandoori Chicken

This is one of famous dish in India.when is come to Asian cooking we cant forget how much Indian cousin domenate to this world.and sri lankan love to have Indian food as well for there main meal. Tandoori is famous for lunch and Dinner with roti or rice.Good for spacial occasions too. bland the teats with Asian plate too.

  • 10 Chicken Legs
  • 1 tbs Red chillie powder
  • 2 lemon juice
  • 100 g yogurt
  • 4 tbs Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Tandoori masala
  • salt according to the teast
  • 30 g oil

  1. Make gashes on the chicken legs
  2. Marinate these chicken legs with all ingredients, except oil.
  3. Now refrigerate for around 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Pre-heat your oven to 180C/350F
  5. Now line a baking tray with foil and pour some cooking oil
  6. After baking for approximately 10minutes, turn the pieces and then bake them for another 10 minutes
  7. Now what, just place the chicken legs in a plate and sprinkle over them some cilantro  and lemon and your yummy chicken tandoori is ready.

Tandoori mixture is easily get burn .so have to be very cairful with the heat.and if it necessary please cover with aluminium foil and bak it again.
