We Call this jeera rice.very famous in India. perfect blane with sri lankan flavors.and Asian people like to Eat So Much Of Rice all in there three meals.and we love to share this recipe with all my fans.and this rice is very light.and it will give nice flavor once you bland with curries….

Ingredients
  • 200 g  Basmati rice
  • 2 tsp Jeera(cumin)
  • 25 g Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Whole peppercorns
  • 2 curry leaves
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 tsp Ghee oil
  • 1 onion
  • salt to teast

Method

  1. Cook Basmathi rice separately with cardamom,cloves and cimamon
  2. Add onions , curry leaves, cumin seeds, peppercorns to the same ghee and fry for a minute.
  3. Add the rice , salt and saute for a wile.
  4. Served with Spicy hot curries.

Note
just saute cumin for a minute.and then only the aroma will come.and be careful do not burn the jeera.
