Curry Leave Marinated seafood Kebabs with Coconut Cream

In this recipe i used lot of spices.Sri lankans love to have lot of Chillies. spicy food is part of our culture.and people from Down south used lot of chilli and aromatic spices for there food.this is famous kebab in sri lanka prepared according to  down south of Sri lanka.but in this recipe we like to give the sauce in coconut cream.

  • 50 g white fish cubs
  • 50 g large peel prawns
  • 1 bunch chopped curry leaves (Karapincha)
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp crushed pepper
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 lime
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp saffron powder
  • 100 ml Coconut milk

  1. take a bowl,and make the using Chopped curry leaves,coriander leaves,chilli powder,pepper,salt,lime and little bit of oil.
  2. Keep the marinated fish and prawns in cool place for 15 minutes.
  3. Make the Kebabs ,heat the firing pan,add the kebab and cook both sides for 4 minutes.
  4. take a another pan.heat the oil,add the chopped onion and saute,
  5. add saffron stir once. and poor the coconut milk and bring it to boil simmer for 2 minutes.

Do not over cook the fish and prawns…cooking temperature is very important.and even the sauce must me preheated before use.  when you adding cinnamon.
